Multi Axis Module I

Erosive Grinding

This module offers programming for components that are machined rotation-symmetrically using additional axes. This process allows components to be machined without exposing them to mechanical loads.

Multi-axis module I erosive grinding

The application is based on an open 2D contour. Selecting the appropriate axis and the machine event “permanent rotation” makes the programming into a multi-axis machining operation for erosive grinding.

DCAMCUT programming generally begins with the contour definition. The start and end points are set automatically by the program. By using the DCAMCUT “template technology” feature, the programming is already complete.

[Template technology allows you and your team to store all machining processes in cataloged form and reuse them at any time, even across models. This significantly minimizes manual error rates.]

The speed and direction of the permanent rotation can be freely selected and are added to the contour as a machine event.

After defining the raw part and selecting the additional axis, DCAMCUT displays the machining process in the solid simulation.
